A structured group training course for young gundogs, including both spaniels and retrievers, aged between 6 and 18 months.
This course is designed for owners who want to build solid foundations and good habits in their young dog, whether you are aiming for future field work, competition style events or simply want a calm, biddable gundog with good manners and control.
All exercises are adapted to suit individual dogs and handlers, ensuring training remains fair, clear and achievable.
Each training session will focus on developing and progressing a specific skill, with clear guidance given so it can be easily replicated at home for practice before moving on to a new skill the following week 🐶
Training runs in structured blocks with limited places, so numbers are intentionally kept small.
Instructions
Please ensure you bring
A Slip lead
A whistle and lanyard.
A game bag or training vest for carrying dummies
Optional
Training treats.
You must also be wearing suitable clothing and footwear as we will be training outside in all weathers.
All dummies and training equipment will be provided by Samantha unless specified otherwise.
